The Track Inspection
The project of pianist and Hammond Organ player and composer Jan Andr combines jazz tradition with modern genres such as soul, funk and hip hop. Inspired by the New York club scene, The Track Inspection is a unique formation on the Czech jazz scene combining the Hammond organ trio and the three-member brass section. Jan Andr's collaborations ranges from the soul-pop diva Tonya Graves, through electronic music producer Boris Carloff to the Milan Svoboda Prague Big Band. Also other band members Kirill Yakovlev, Tomáš Hobzek, Miroslav Hloucal, Petr Kalfus and Richard Šanda are experienced jazz musicians. The performance will feature songs from the band's debut album Introducing launched in October 2020 by Locator Records.
